I love to start my weekends with a Saturday morning prayer. It’s a Saturday morning blessing! It’s a great time to connect with God, give thanks for this past week, and prep for the weekend ahead.

Sometimes we don’t have a lot of time to pray, but what I like to say is: any prayer is a good prayer. I wrote a short prayer for those that are limited on time but still want to commune with their Savior. If you need a quick prayer for the weekend this is the perfect one for you!
Here is a short prayer for Saturday morning:
Heavenly Father,
As the sun rises on this wonderful Saturday morning, I come before You with grateful hearts. Fill my day with Your presence, guiding my steps and granting me wisdom. May this day be one of rest, renewal, and joy as I seek to honor and serve You.

Father God,
It’s Saturday morning, I humbly ask for Your guidance, dear God. In the choices I face and the paths before me, illuminate my way with Your wisdom and truth. Lead me by Your Holy Spirit, that I may walk in alignment with Your perfect will.

Lord Jesus,
Thank You for this Saturday morning, I approach your throne of grace on this holy Saturday with reverence and thanksgiving. Your Word reminds me that this is the day that You have made; I rejoice and am glad in it (Psalm 118:24). I humbly acknowledge Your sovereignty over every aspect of my life and surrender my heart to Your perfect will that transcends all understanding.
Lord, I seek Your wisdom and guidance as I navigate the path before me. Your Word assures me that if I lack wisdom, I can ask of You, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to me (James 1:5). Grant me discernment and understanding as I make choices and decisions today, that they may align with Your divine plan.

Almighty God,

Illuminate my heart and mind with Your truth, that I may walk in alignment with Your will and bring glory to God.
